What is SEO and why should I care?

 
SEO as we have already explained, stands for Search Engine Optimization and it is what you do to your site in order to help it rank higher in the search engines. You should care about doing SEO for your business because SEO will not only help you rank higher but also get more visitors to your site.

If done properly, SEO can help you grow your business. Why do I say “properly”? because if done wrong, all you will get is useless traffic (visitors) but if done properly, then you may end up getting a lot of targeted traffic; people who will most likely convert into paying clients.

So, should you care about SEO? the answer is a simple YES! but most importantly, you should care about doing proper SEO for your business website.

One of the things I recommend is to learn the basics, but find someone (an expert) to do the SEO for your website. Trying to do it yourself can not only be frustrating but also a waste of time and you may even end up hurting your site, the same way you can hurt it if you hire the wrong “SEO expert”, you know, those that charge $99 to $300 per month, promise you the sky but deliver only excuses!

Dear business owner, the answer to your lack of visitors or new clients can be SEO, but you need to know the basics and then hire the best company you can afford, give them enough time to design and implement a solid strategy and your business will be in its way to higher rankings and more traffic.
