Well, search engine optimization or SEO is the process of maximizing the number of visitors to a particular website by ensuring that the site appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.

When someone seats at their computer, type in their question or need, and get a list of possible website to visit, those websites that show up first are the result of SEO. That means that someone has done some SEO to those websites to show up first in the results provided by Google or other search engines.

Search engine optimization is something very important that every business owner should to for their websites and although it takes time to learn it is a good idea to spend time on.
